Following a political crisis, Peru is facing a serious social crisis which affectis the entire country, particularly the southern regions of the country. We could give an idea of its magnitude by saying that since December 7th to this day (February 06th, 2023), we count 58 victims. The situation is serious and the victims come to add to the problems of shortages and inflation. In the region of Cusco, the situation is very complicated. Some sites are closed by the protesters themselves, and others by the authorities as a safety measure.
